The papyrus document P.Vindob. G. 13309 and 13356 gives an exact date and regnal year of the emperor Justinian. The document belongs to the papyrus collection in Vienna.


Discussion

For the same reference to Peripatos, most likely a location, for institutions of John the Baptist at Hermopolis, see E06815 and E06816.

The oratory here acts as the lessor of a rural property (
epaulis). A man named Zacharias, the oikonomos (steward) of the oratory seems to have arranged the lease and acts as the representative of the addressed dikaion of the oratory in this contract.
