Stone slab of three conjoining pieces, found near Maktar. Total dimensions: L. 178 x W. 87 x Th. 16 cm. Letter height between 3 and 7 cm. Recorded in 1967 as in the garden of the 'Délégation de Maktar'.Discussion
This is presumably an altar table. It is impossible to say when the inscription was carved. It is also uncertain which saints are commemorated here. They may well be otherwise unknown local martyrs, or possibly Felix of Thibiuca (S02084), and a companion martyr, Ianuarius, since Maktar and Thibiuca are not very far from each other. It should, however, be noted that Ianuarius is a minor figure, who appears in the Martyrdom of Felix in only a very few manuscripts - see the Discussion under E05610.
