Written in Latin at Wearmouth-Jarrow (north-east Britain), 725/731.
E06557Aldhelm, in his prose On Virginity, names *Felix (bishop of Thibiuca, martyr in Italy or of Carthage, S02084) as an exemplary virgin. Written in Latin in southern Britain, for the nuns at the monastery at Barking (south-east Britain), c. 675/686.
E07390The Latin Martyrdom of *Felix (bishop of Thibiuca, martyr in Italy or of Carthage, S02084), tells of his martyrdom under Diocletian; in one version he is martyred at Venosa, in another at Nola (both in southern Italy); in the latter version, his relics are returned to Carthage (central North Africa). Written in either Italy or North Africa, sometime during Late Antiquity.
