The inscription is on a bronze bowl (situla) dated to the Visigothic period (before 711). It has appendages with holes for suspension. The name of Vincent is here in the genitive instead of the dative (as would be expected). The person who made the inscription made a mistake in the saint's name (s/he skipped a central syllable) and later had to compensate for the lack of letters making larger spaces between the letters T, I, and L.It was discovered in the Campo de la Verdad in Cordoba and now is part of the collection of the Archaeological Museum in Cordoba (inventory no. 28334), see HEp 4, 291 and AETHAM no. 721.
It is dated palaeographically to the 7th century.
