E03476Greek inscription commemorating the construction, almost certainly of a church (martyrion?), by the Ghassanid/Jafnid phylarch al-Mundhir (III), as an act of gratitude towards God and a saint, probably *Sabinianos (martyr of Damascus, S01422). Found at Al-Burj, 2 km to the south of Dumayr (Roman province of Phoenicia II). Datable 569-581.
