The papyrus P.Oxy. 67 4620 is located at Oxford, Sackler Library, Papyrology Rooms, A22/5. The document is dated on palaeographical grounds.Discussion
The payments are made not only to churches and shrines, but to monasteries and people as well.Noteworthy is the guest-house for the shrine of Ioustos for which the same amount as for the shrine itself is listed. A guest-house connected with a shrine would suggest a pilgrimage centre, possibly connected with a healing shrine of Ioustos. (See E02292 for evidence that Ioustos had a martyrion at Oxyrrhynchos.)
The 'church of Phoibammon' is perhaps the church of saint Phoibammon; but, unlike the other saints, Phoibammon is not labelled as hagios, and it could be a church founded by, and named after, a man of the same name (for this same church, labelled in the same way, see E00164 and E02123).
