In this document, John, the steward (oikonomos) of (the shrine of) saint Apa Phoibammon (line 63) sells parts of a house to Apa Viktor, son of Athanasios, from Jeme (lines 11–12). These are the parts of the house which a certain Georgios had in the past donated to the saint on account of the salvation of his deceased mother Ioanne (lines 19–21). The donation included moveable as well as immovable property (lines 29–32)

Lines 11–19 read as follows:

ⲉⲛⲧⲓ ⲁⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲏⲕ ⲛⲧⲟⲕ ⲁⲡⲁ ⲃⲓⲕⲧⲱⲣ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛⲡⲙⲁⲕⲁⲣⲓⲟⲥ ⲁⲑⲁⲛⲁⲥⲓⲟⲥ ϩⲛ ϫⲏⲙⲉ ϩⲁ ⲡⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲧⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ <ⲉⲣⲙⲁⲛⲑ(ⲓⲥ)>

'We are selling you, Apa Biktor, the son of the blessed Athanasios, from Jeme, in the district of the city <Hermonthis>, the parts which George, the son of Ioanne, the daughter of Elias, son of Apa Biktor – her mother is Eudoxia –, donated to the saint Apa Phoibamon for the salvation of their mother and and his own, so that God and the intercessions of the martyr will be kind with them on his tribunal, since this is exactly the place where every Christian needs it.'
