E02674Gregory of Tours, in his Glory of the Confessors (61), recounts how he visited the tomb of *Helius (bishop of Lyon, S01284) in Lyon (south-east Gaul) and noticed an inscription referring to a violator of the grave; he is told that a pagan had attempted to rob the grave, but had been held fast until morning by Helius' arms. Written in Latin in Tours (north-west Gaul), 587/588.
