ID | Title | E01858 | Valerius of Bierzo, in his Replicatio sermonum (9), tells how a shrine dedicated to *Pantaleon (martyr of Nicomedia, S00596) and other martyrs was built by local monks following divine revelation and thanks to the offerings of the faithful, and consecrated by a bishop, all in the place in which *Fructuosus (monastic founder in Dumio and Braga, S01554) used to pray in the region of Bierzo (north-west Hispania) in the second half of the 7th century. Written in Latin at Bierzo, probably near the end of the 7th c. |
