E03535The Coptic Martyrdom of Apa *Timotheos and his daughter Martyria (martyrs of Middle Egypt, S01462), relates the horrific tortures they endured under the governor Arianos and the miraculous appearances of the archangels *Michael and *Gabriel (S00181and S00192) to rescue them repeatedly; their martyrdom begins as *Paulos, Pausire, and Maria (monastic martyrs of Antinoopolis, S01847) are sentenced to death. Written presumably in the 6th/7th c.; preserved (in an incomplete form) in a manuscript of the 10th c.
E07007Two Coptic Encomia of *Klaudios Stratelates (martyr of Alexandria and Antinoopolis, S02667), attributed to Constantine of Assiut, recount seven posthumous miracles of the saint at his shrine at Antinoopolis/Antinoe (Middle Egypt). Written in Coptic, probably at Antinoopolis, at an uncertain date, probably within the later 7th or 8th c.
